This will be our kickoff of a trial virtual Neighborhood Group. We will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7 PM on ZOOM, a video conference application. You will receive the video link to join the meeting once you have registered.
Each meeting will consist of 2 segments:
7:00 - 7:40 PM: Educational program
*** Our May program will be "educating" ourselves about how we want to set up our group. We can focus on one particular type of sewing or it can be a group that rotates through a variety of things from garments to quilting to embroidery to .... You get the picture - we get to decide!
7:40 - 7:50 PM - Sign off for a 10 minute break. This keeps this platform free. Get a cup of tea or glass of wine or some popcorn and come right back to rejoin the meeting.
7:50 - 8:30 PM - Show and Tell. Show off your latest makes. We will learn how to manage within the 40 minute time limit but I have done this with another group and it worked really great.
8:30 PM - Adjourn
This is definitely a TRIAL and a LEARNING EXPERIENCE!! Don't come expecting perfection but come with a light heart and we can laugh at our missteps as we learn how to make this idea work.... or we will learn that it doesn't and call the whole thing off. :-)
